6 (6-ounce) burger patties
1 to 1-1/2 cups Fischer & Wieser Spicy Garlic Steak & Grilling Sauce
1/8-1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper, or to taste
1/8-1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper, or to taste
6 slices asadero cheese
6-12 slices tomatoes
6-12 slices iceberg lettuce leaves
6 good quality burger buns
Heat a grill to medium hot. Pour 1 cup of the Fischer & Wieser Spicy Garlic Steak & Grilling Sauce in a baking dish. Place the burger patties in the sauce, turning to coat both sides well. Grill the burgers on the grill to desired degree of doneness, basting them with more Fischer & Wieser Spicy Garlic Steak & Grilling Sauce each time you turn them. About 3-4 minutes before the burgers are done, place a slice of cheese on top of each burger. Open the buns and paint the insides with melted butter. Place buns, buttered sides down, on the grill rack; grill buns just long enough to lightly brown, with edges slightly crisp. Place a burger on each bun. Layer on tomato slices and lettuce leaves. Serves 6.
