Spicy Asian-Style Sweet Potatoes

Mix up your side dish routine the next time you make your own Asian food with these spicy sweet potatoes! Delicate but packing a punch, these sweet potatoes are coated in Fischer & Wieser’s Gochujang Unchained Sauce and garnished with sesame seeds to soften that blow. These are so filling they can be enjoyed as a side dish or even eaten by themselves!

Yields: 3 servings
2 sweet potatoes, cubed with skins removed
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish
1.      Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2.      Peel sweet potatoes and cut into cubed pieces.
3.      In a small mixing bowl, combine your Gochujang Unchained Sauce, brown sugar, and salt. Drizzle sweet potatoes with oil and toss in sauce mixture until coated evenly.
4.      Take out cookie sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray. Pour sweet potatoes on to sheet and bake in oven for 25 minutes or until fork tender.
5.      Remove from oven and garnish with sesame seeds.
6.      Serve with your favorite Asian dish or enjoy by themselves!
