Major Cleaton's Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Jalapeños

Wow! Great to do on the grill before the entreé is done, while your guests are wandering over to the grill to see how everything's coming! The bacon sizzles and the Fischer & Wieser The Original Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce® tantalizes!

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Grill Time: 10-15 minutes

6 large green jalapeño peppers
1 3-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 /3 cup Fischer & Wieser The Original Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce®
6 slices bacon

Heat grill. Cut washed peppers in half lengthwise; remove seeds. Mix cream cheese and Fischer & Wieser The Original Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce® together (may need more or less raspberry chipotle, to taste). Fill pepper halves with cream cheese and raspberry chipotle mixture. Wrap bacon slices around stuffed peppers; secure with toothpick. Grill until bacon is done, 10-15 minutes, depending on thickness of bacon. Serves 6.

"For the Jalapeños I was talking about, you take a nice big pepper, cut it in half lengthwise and seed it. Mix up room temperature cream cheese and raspberry chipotle to taste. Fill up the pepper halves. Wrap the whole thing in Bacon and secure with a toothpick. Grill till done. (The pepper cookers they sell in town are useless. You have the end of the pepper hanging out the bottom next to the fire and the bacon above the contraption and it always ends up raw. Cutting the Pepper lengthwise lets you get the bacon done evenly as you can flip it without the stuffing coming out)."
