Lamb Stew with German Fig Mustard Sauce

3 Lamb shanks
1 cup chopped white onions
1 cup chopped red onions
1/2 cup of parsley chopped
1/2 cup of thyme chopped
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon white pepper
One small bunch broccoli rabe roughly chopped A bag of small of yellow gold potatoes A bag of julienne carrots
1/2 cup oil
Qt chicken stock
One box of pasta noodles any kind you like One can of roasted tomatos
First you wash the lamb in cold water then take a paper towel and dry the meat Cut the meat off the bone. Get a stock pot to put the meat and the bone place white and red onions in the same pot. Making sure you have the stock pot on a low temperature. Put in white pepper garlic powder parsley German Fig Mustard Sauce add in oil . Begin to stirring all together. You do this for about two minutes when you see the lamb start browning add in the chicken stock then let cook for a hour or when the meat is about half way done.
Then you add potatoes carrots and broccoli rabe. Cook until it starts the reduced stirring from time to time. Then it's done With this recipe you can use rice mashed potatoes or pasta. What I did in a separate pot I Cooked my pasta and I put in after it was done I put it all together just putting the pasta last and stirred a round.
Make sure at the end places in a bowl with a drizzle of German Fig Mustard Sauce on top finishing with a little parsley on top. Salt and pepper to taste.
