Grilled Texasburger basted with Big Bold Red Soppin' Sauce, then slathered with Chipotle Chile Ketchup
Love a great big juicy delicious home-grilled burger? This is it!
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Grill Time: 30 minutes
6 (6-ounce) burger patties
1 to 1-1/2 cups Fischer & Wieser Big Bold Red Soppin’ Sauce
freshly cracked black pepper and a dash of ground red pepper, to taste
6 slices asadero cheese
½ cup Fischer & Wieser Chipotle Chile Ketchup
6-12 slices tomatoes
6-12 slices iceberg lettuce leaves
6 good quality burger buns
melted butter
Heat a grill to medium hot. Pour 1 cup of the Fischer & Wieser Big Bold Red Soppin’ Sauce in a baking dish. Place the burger patties in the sauce, turning to coat both sides well. Grill the burgers on the grill to desired degree of doneness, basting them with more Fischer & Wieser Big Bold Red Soppin’ Sauce each time you turn them. About 3-4 minutes before the burgers are done, place a slice of cheese on top of each burger. Open the buns and paint the insides with melted butter. Place buns, buttered sides down, on the grill rack; grill buns just long enough to lightly brown, with edges slightly crisp. Place a burger on each bun and pour some of the Fischer & Wieser Chipotle Chile Ketchup on top. Layer on tomato slices and lettuce leaves. Serves 6.
