Garbanzo Avocados

3 avocados, sliced in half lengthwise with seed removed
2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
Salt and black pepper
2 cups drained garbanzos (chick peas)
½ cup Fischer & Wieser’s Savory Fig & Onion Spread
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar


Brush the insides of the avocado halves with olive oil and grill just enough to make grill marks across the surface. Season with salt and pepper. In a pan or skillet, heat the garbanzos with the spread and vinegar until the liquid is nearly evaporated. Spoon the garbanzo mixture into the grilled avocado halves. Serves 6.
