Chicken Satay with Spicy Chile Peanut Sauce

Satay is available almost anywhere in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, where it is almost a national dish.  If you've never had it, you're in for a treat with this recipe. Strips of chicken (or been) are marinated then skewered and grill. Serve with our Spicy Chile Peanut Sauce for the ultimate taste sensation.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Marinate Time:  1-2 hours
Grill Time: 15 minutes

8-12 boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into thin strips
1 package wooden skewers
2 cups Fischer & Wieser Spicy Chile Peanut Sauce

Wash chicken; slice into ½ inch wide pieces lengthwise. Place chicken in a shallow glass dish such as a casserole and pour in 1 cup Fischer & Wieser Spicy Chile Peanut Sauce; stir to coat well.  Allow to marinate 1-2 hours.  Soak wooden skewers in water approximately ½ hour before grilling. Heat grill to medium-high heat (375° F).  Place skewers on grill and cook approximately 2-3 minutes per side, or until chicken is crisp and browned; careful not to overcook. Serve with more Fischer & Wieser Spicy Chile Peanut Sauce. Serves 6
